The Huxley Parks and Recreation Department offers a youth volleyball league for grades 3rd-6th. Huxley teams will participate in the Central Iowa Recreational League. Teams will be divided up with 3rd-4th graders playing together and 5th-6th graders playing together. Practices will be during the week and are determined by volunteer coaches. Games will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Travel to other communities for games will be required. Volleyball is a program that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall athletics in a format that is both fast-paced and a skill builder.
