David Haugland has worked as a City Manager/City Administrator for over 35 years, most recently serving as the City Administrator for West Liberty, Iowa. Mr. Haugland holds a Master of Public Administration from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Buena Vista College. He has served as administrator for the communities of Marshall, Excelsior Springs and Bethany in Missouri and Nevada and Wilton in Iowa. Also, Mr. Haugland has been married for more than 36 years and has two adult children. He has been active in Boy Scouts and has been a member of Rotary for more than 28 years.
Mr. Haugland will begin his employment with the City of Huxley on April 3rd.
