Saturday, September 2, the Library lost its leader, longtime advocate, and our very best friend.  Our director, Mike Hanks, passed away.  He fought long and hard, and left a job he truly loved.  After 12 years as director, and librarian before that, his familiar face will be missed.  Please keep his family in your prayers.
Mike’s family is so appreciative of your comments and support.  There will not be a formal service this week, per Mike’s wishes.  The family will be planning a celebration of life in the future.  If you would like to share cards, memories or condolences with his family, please send in care of his sister:  Ranae Roberts, 517 Meadow Brook Place, Huxley.
Thank you so much.
