Huxley is working on an exciting project that will make summer even more fun!  Imagine a bright, interactive water facility at Nord Kalsem Park, where kids of all ages can cool off, families can spend time together, and memories can be made.  The splash pad is a safe and inclusive space for all ages and abilities.  It's a space to encourage outdoor play, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster a stronger sense of community.  We need YOUR HELP to make this happen.

The splash pad project is estimated at $740,000, including all materials, engineering and construction.  The City is pursuing multiple grants and has donated $50,000 to the project plus will be paying the entire cost of a paved parking lot.  Story County has also donated $50,000 to this project.  The remaining funds needed to complete this project is $300,000.  Brick Sales, Corporate Fundraising, Tournaments and general donations are all ways we plan on raising the funds.   We’d love to have the Splash Pad up and running in 2024.  With your support, this dream can become reality.
