Ballard Community Clothes & Food Pantry
The Ballard Clothes and Food Pantry is located at the corner of North Main St. and US Highway 69 at 605 N Main Avenue Suite 105. This service is free to anyone. The Pantry has clothing, household items, toys, books, food, and some furniture. For lease: medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, knee scooter, etc.) Hours: Wednesday 5 PM-7 PM, Saturdays 10 AM-Noon, Sundays 1 PM-3 PM.
The Pantry accepts donations and items during open hours or by appointment. In-season clothing only. Appointments available by calling Jeriann McLaughlin at 515-291-3543 or deanmac1954@gmail.com.
Special Events: Back to School Supplies, Christmas Wishing Tree (for Ballard families only), Thanksgiving and Easter meal supplies, Finance Classes.
Huxley Food Pantry is located at 503 E. 1st Street, behind the south Casey’s.
Hours are:
Wednesday evenings from 6-7 pm
Thursday mornings from 10-11 am
